Requirements for moving to Canada
• First: You need to be on the Skills Shortage List
Canada encourages the immigration of the skilled labor force. The Canadian government has issued a National Occupations Classification list with various types of occupations and skills. You will need to be on this list to apply through this process. We understand going through this activity might be daunting. Let us make this easy for you, give us a call or fill out the free assessment and let’s see if you are on this list.
• Second: You need to have enough points in the Points Assessment
These points are calculated on the following: your age, work experience, trade or occupation, and English language ability. You can score other points if you have close relatives living in Canada, or if you have studied or worked in Canada previously, or if your spouse has studied or worked in Canada.
• Third: Get your Education Credential Assessment
Education Credential assessments are based on your secondary and/or post-secondary educational background. Once you have a positive skills assessment you can then move on to the next stage.
• Fourth: After determining if you qualify for this process, you need to submit your final application
Under Canadian laws and regulations, once a candidate is given a positive test report form, the final application is then submitted with the remaining supporting documents to the CIC. A result from your application will take approximately 9 to 18 months. Don’t worry though, we will be guiding you throughout the entire process.

In order to apply under the Skilled Category, your skills have to be on this list. We would love to guide you through the process and help you understand if you qualify as per this list. • Second: You need to have enough points in the Points Assessment
Points are calculated using the following criteria: Your age, work experience, trade or occupation, and English language ability. You can score other points if you have close relatives living in Australia or you have previously studied or worked in Australia. You can also get points if you are sponsored by a state that needs people with your skills.
• Third: Lodge an application for your Skills Assessment
Skill assessments are based on your post-secondary educational background and work experience. Every occupation on the Skills Occupation List is assessed by relevant Assessing Bodies. Once you have received a positive result on your skills assessment, you will move on to the next stage.
• Fourth: If you qualify for moving to Australia, log your Expression of Interest (EOI)
In this process, you are required to log an Expression of Interest (EOI). This places you in a pool to be invited to apply for this process. The time it will take for your EOI to be accepted can vary from 4 months to 18 months. Don’t worry though, we will lead you through the entire process.
